Today has been a GREAT day! I did my annual volunteering for Special Olympics ND. I will do it again tomorrow. I run their souvenirs for them during their state summer games. I love it but I always end up spending money because they have new stuff from the last time I was there. After volunteering, I took a nap because I had a pounding headache! 🙁 But its gone now! :)So Im going to play the Friday Five!
Songbird writes, “It’s that time of year when the only new things on television are music/dance competitions (the 21st century answer to variety shows?). Yes, it’s the season of reruns.
This week the clock turned back to last fall and the Glee kids went back to school and still got “slushied,” and Michael hired his nephew on The Office, which was not something even he would be likely to repeat.
In honor of this annual Time Warp, please share five things worth a repeat. These could be books, movies, CDs, recipes, vacations, or even TV shows.”
1. I always catch something that I didnt catch the first time!
2. Because it is my fave movie/tv show/cd/etc and I could watch it over and over again. It makes me feel good….a good pick-me up!
3. vacations where I get to spend them with people I love and would love to go back and see those friends/family again.
4.For a good laugh, or cry
5. Reminds me of my childhood days! Like watching reruns of “Full House” etc. I can usually quote episodes “word for word”
It is a *lot* of fun to watch shows we know that well!
luv those kind of vacations too 🙂
same for fave movies ~ familiarity of response is comfort …
Oh Full House! To be that cool again…:)
I ditto each one!
