I’m keeping Sundays simple. Today, in worship, we sang the hymn Take My Life that I May Be. This song is grief. It was sung at the funeral of Ben Splichal Larson who died in the Haiti earthquake in January of 2010. This song brings about the beauty in the midst of that day. So here’s a little music for your Sunday. Enjoy!
A few tears here as well. Love the words of this precious hymn. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. I hope your tears were healing.
We sang Take My Life and Let it Be this morning, too! My memories were more mundane…I led it from their wonderful piano several times during the year I did a lot of keyboard supply in Pacific Beach
Fun that we both sang that hymn this morning.
Beautiful song! Thanks for sharing what I means to you.
Thanks!
