Come, Holy Spirit!
Come, word made flesh!
Come, with your own righteous anger.

Calm the world’s unrighteous anger.

Bring about everlasting peace
peace that only you can bring.

Peace that comes
only through the birth
of a holy child
whose cries pierce the darkness
and bring about hope, peace and joy
in a broken angry world.
